Phyllis Langenbau, 46

Gladbrook - A memorial service for Phyllis Langenbau, 46, rural Gladbrook, who died Sunday, July 10 at University Hospitals, Iowa City, of Lymphoma, will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Peace United Church of Christ, Gladbrook. The Rev. John Saxton  will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.

There will be no visitation, but friends may call at the church after 1 p.m. Wednesday. For more information, call the Goettsch-Perrin Funeral Home, Gladbrook.

She was born Nov. 18, 1941 in Marshalltown to Glenn and Olive Medhus Ferguson.  She graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1960.

On Dec. 8, 1975 she married Raynard Langenbau, near Gladbrook and they farmed near Gladbrook.

She worked at the Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center for 15 years.  She retired due to ill health in 1985.

She was preceded in death by her mother in April.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Randy Tilley, Marshalltown a daughter Sherry Tilley, Marshalltown; two stepchildren, Dale Langenbau, Garwin, and Tracy Langenbau, in Massachuttes; two brothers, Wesley Ferguson, Glendale, AZ, and Merle Ferguson, in Az;; three sisters, Linda Kramer, Waterloo, Lois Speas, Newton, and Marlys Rieger, LeGrand; her father, Glenn Ferguson, Marshalltown.
