Thomas L. Weaver, 62

Bella Vista Ark. - Thomas Lee Weaver, 62, of Bella Vista, Ark., formerly of Marshalltown, died Oct. 25 2004, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark.

A mermorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the United Lutheran Church in Bell Vista, with Pastors Benjamin Veit and Fred Schaap officiating.  Arrangement are being handled by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd. in Bella Vista.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Lutheran Church, Stephen Ministries 100 Cooper Rd., Bella Vista, Ar 72715.

He was born Aug. 4, 1942, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to David and (Betty Peterson) Weaver.  He was raised and educated in Marshalltown.  Thomas served in the United States Navy and did four tours in Vietnam, retiring from the service and lived in 1983.  He married Gloria Graham while in the service and lived in Central Iowa.  He married Kristine Kroger Kothenbeutel on July 12, 2001, in Apple Valley, MN.  He moved to Bella Vista in October 2002 form Apple Valley.

He was a member of the United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista.  He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife Kristine Weaver of Bella Vista;  his mother Betty Weaver of Marshalltown; one son David Anthony "Tony" Weaver  of Davenport; two daughters, Michelle Cook and Tracey Weaver, both of Iowa City;  one step daughter Cydney (Chuck) Willard of Omaha, Nebraska; three sister, Sandra (Ron) Maxfield of Dallas, Texas, Bonnie Hulsizer of Bennington, Nebraska, and Jill (Tim) Warwick of Des Moines; and five grandchildren, Courtney, Angelina, Andrew, Matthew and Zachary.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother David weaver.
