Services for Jeanne K. (Mrs. Dennis) Buffington, 46, 305 S. 6th St., who died Friday, Aug. 24, of complications from cancer at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marshalltown.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetary.  The Rev. Ralph Simington will officiate.

She was born Feb. 26, 1944, in Marshalltown to Louie and Maggie Halverson Giannetto.  She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Marshalltown in 1962.

On July 11, 1964, she married Dennis D. Buffington in Marshalltown.  She was co-owner of Buff's Billards from 1976 to 1987.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Women of the Moose. She was preceded in death by her mother Maggie.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis, Marshalltown, two sons, Joe and Michael, Marshalltown; two daughters, Jennifer and Wendy, Marshalltown: her father, Louie, Marshalltown; two brothers, Carl and Ronald, both of Marshalltown; and a grandchild.
