I really can not believe it has been thirty years! As the saying goes………It seems like only yesterday. As the reunion approaches I’m sure we will all be reflecting on things we have done. Things we’d like to do, or thing’s we will do. As NIKE says Just Do It!

After loosing my mother (suddenly while in the hospital) having my spouse diagnosed with cancer and seeing my father be put on several medications for his health, I decided to make a lifestyle change.

I now enjoy running immensely. I run everything from your run of the mill 5K up to and including 100 mile competitions. I have traveled to foreign countries to run marathons and all over the US to climb buildings and towers. I have coached teams of athletes for the American Lung Association and for the Arthritis Foundation. That is my passion, helping others complete a marathon or a stair climb. A couple of marathon’s back I actually carried another runner over my shoulder like a rag doll to get her to the finish. My time sucked but she finished her first marathon!

My favorite school story would have to do with automobiles and or drinking. Seemed the two went hand in hand. I won’t go into specific details but those of you who know of the times can relate. The Trans Am and Corvette saw a lot of hard use. And the poor old Javelin, with so many bent axles because it’s driver could not control her.
