Annette Colleen Steffen, 52, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014 at her home in Plano, Texas.

Funeral services for Annette will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 23, 2014, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshalltown. Annette Warnhoff was born on May 25, 1962 in Marshalltown to Charles and Karen Williams Warnhoff. Annette graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1980. On June 29, 1991, Annette was united in marriage to Vincent Gerard Steffen at Zion Lutheran Church in Dallas, Texas. Annette had been a resident of Dallas since 1980. Annette was employed with Kenny’s Mobile and Lennox Industries in Richardson, Texas. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Dallas. In her youth, Annette enjoyed dancing and swimming. During her high school years, she bowled and was a member of the high school gymnastics team. Most recently, Annette enjoyed cooking, traveling, camping, NASCAR and playing darts. Annette liked to go fast in her cars and was a BIG Jeff Gordon fan and she loved her pets.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of almost 23 years, Vince, her daughter; Denise Steffen, mother Karen, brother; Phillip (Dawn) Warnhoff of Marshalltown and her aunt and uncle; Gwendolyn and Warren Nash of Marshalltown.

Annette is preceded in death by her father Charles and sister-in-law Mary Steffen which was like a real sister to her and also her maternal and paternal grandparents.
