I am still learning about this, so be patient with me as I try and update info. This is great! I am enjoying reading about everyone and seeing pictures of classmates and their families!! If anyone has info that needs to be on here and aren't sure what to do, email me and I will try and put the info on or I will tell you how to do it. (If I know how?) Take care you guys.

Lisa:
Do you happen to have a photograph from the 10 year reunion. I was there but never received one and would love to get a copy. Let me know.

I do have a copy, but I will have to locate it in all of my reunion boxes. I am a reunion pack rat!! I will try and scan it and send it to you by email when I find it. Take care Karen.

Lisa,

Awesome job as always Lisa. I have no idea who's on the 30th year reunion committe but thank you for taking the ball and running with it for next year. I know it will be a success. I would love to get a copy of all the group pictures for all the reunions. It seems I do not have any! One more thing.....I know we all, in our young age, have busy lives. But, please think about it. This is 30 years and it could be the last time we see one another. Let's ALL let go of any old bad feelings and move on. I would LOVE to see everyone there. Tomorrow is not promised so we have to make the best of today.

Hey you guys Tonya is so right!! I can't wait to see everyone next year!! Life is very short and we each need to make every minute the best that we can. Please try and get all of our classmates excited about the reunion. Call, write, text, email, make a visit or use whatever method it takes to get everyone there at our 30th!! Love you guys! Take care

Hi everyone,
I dont know if you guys remember me and I haven't been to any of the reunions. Actually I haven't even seen anyone in almost 28 years. I was going to come to not the past reunion but the one before. Larry LaPrade called and made sure I got the invitation and I was just getting divorced and believe it or not completely forgot what weekend it was until it had passed. Needless to say I didn't make it and as you know Larry passed away. I will always feel bad that I did not get to see him again before it was too late. I can never get that chance again. I know in high school so many of us mostly just hung out with our own "groups" and some of us had very little interaction with each other. But I so agree with Tonya. We were all young and I know I for one am a completely different person than I was then and this could be the last time we ever have a chance to all get together again. I am going to try very hard to make it and I hope everyone will give it a shot and let the past be the past. Let's all try to come and make new memories!

Hi all
Mike Weaver is living in Nashville, TN and chasing the dream and has no email address and I assume most of the missing classmates are in the same boat.

Hello and Happy New Year everyone,I'm sitting here recuperating from foot surgery, earlier this year I thought I would take another try at motorcycle racing obviously that didn't work out too good.I don't know about the rest of you guys but some of the activities I practiced as a teenager are coming back to haunt me.Basically we're not as young as we used to be,Whew where did 30 yrs.go.I couldn't agree w/ Tonya and Kathy more I wish we could have everyone at the 30th.I see quite a few people locally and hardly any of them have ever been to a reunion.By the way Cecil retired from the Army and is back home,I stopped by and carried him to the last reunion meeting.Take care Tommy

Thanks Tommy. You're right. I see several classmates too but I see they haven't updated their profile or even show they've been to the website. Let's all make the effort to connect with at least 2 or 3 people a month who haven't updated their profile. If we all will commit to that then by June Lisa should have a pretty good number of people attending if those people will commit to another 2 or 3 people for contact. I'm getting excited! That just goes to show I don't get out much. LOL

A BIG Thank you to Lisa and everyone who has helped put
together our reunions. You have done a lot of hard work and
a great job. We will always owe you a big debt and as we all
know, as time moves on, this stuff becomes more and more
dear. Lisa you are soooooooo awesome! Mark

Hello Class of '79. I've noticed there have been a few updates to the profiles but still no indication that you're coming October 9th and 10th. We need everyone to push each other to make it. Let's make the 30th one to remember. If you updated and haven't committed, please talk to the family. I know I'd love to see everyone there. Nudge the ones you know haven't updated their profile or committed. Let's pull together.......

Lisa, you're amazing and I'll never be able to thank you and the committee enough for PUSHING us! I look so forward to seeing all of you to solidify old friendships and foster some new ones! I recently retired from Destin Fire Department and on a sabbatical of sorts, sorry about the MIA status. Congrats to Martinsville Fire Department Fire Chief Ken Draper!!! Lisa and Tonya have a hug coming!!

Time has flown by and the reunion is fast approaching!! I have only received confirmation from two people that they are coming. I know it is still a little early, so start talking to everyone and get them excited!!! It will be great to see everyone! I will put a list of the people attending so that you will know who is coming. Take care and PLEASE call, email, regular mail or whatever method it takes to get our classmates to come!!

Hello everyone. Lisa's right. Time is running out! I'm guilty of not sending my money yet but it will be in your hands by Saturday(Lisa). I really would love to have everyone show up!!!! If Saturday is an issue then at least try to make it Friday night. Joan, I am so happy to see you are coming. I have missed you!!!!!! And if you're not coming because you don't want to show up alone, GET OVER IT!!! So far it looks like I'll be coming stag. lmao. See you all in a few weeks.

It's Saturday after our Friday night at the Elks Club & I had a really nice time! Thanks Reunion Committee! I know it takes your time & a big effort to get all this together, and I REALLY appreciate you doing it! The food was fabulous & a BIG THANKS to whomever donated the beer! It was great to see all who attended, and I miss those who didn't! Lately, it seems that I'm older than everybody around me, so it's really special to be in a crowd of people who are ALL MY AGE!!!

I hope we're all able to make some more wonderful memories while we're together this weekend, and vow to keep doing it as long as we can!

Hope everyone had a great time at the reunion! I missed seeing everyone. My son Aric got the flu(?) Thursday at school. He is still running a fever of 102-103. Sorry to have missed you all but look forward to hearing all about it! Thanks again to the committee for all their hard work! Hope everyone has a safe trip home.

If you missed the reunion, you missed having a wonderful time. Friday night at the Elks Club and Saturday night at Chatmoss was a blast. We missed each of you that wasn't there!! Thanks to everyone that made each of these nights so much fun. It was great to see everyone and catch up and make new memories! I look so forward to the next time that we can all get together! Love you guys!

I was unable to attend the reunion this year much to my disappointment. I have heard from a few classmates that it was a great time. I am currently in Northern Virginia not far from DC and hopefully there will be an occasion where I can see some of you when I make a visit to Martinsville to visit family. Hope you all have a great holiday season with family and friends.
