I was in the U. S. Army living in Colorado when I learned of Fred's accident. Fred was my real first boyfriend. He and Bill Bledsoe used to drive by my house in Bill's van and yell "BLAISDELL!!!"...it used to make my dad mad and put me in the hot seat. But I loved every minute of it. He was good to me. Had the kindest heart and the best sense of humor. He even let me drive his Karmin Gia (if that is how you spell it) even though I didn't have a license and couldn't drive a stick. (Did I say that? LOL) I think about him often, and I still miss him.
