Larry LaPrade passed away March 9, 2005.

A memorial service for Larry Dale LaPrade, 43, of 1022 Jefferson Circle, Martinsville, who died March 9, 2005, at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville, was held at 2 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services chapel.  The Rev. Terry Knighten officiated.

He was born in Martinsville on July 4, 1961, to William Ralph LaPrade and Audrey Foley LaPrade, both deceased.

He was employed at Faircloth Machine Shop in Winston-Salem NC.

Surviving are a son, Robert LaPrade of Martinsville, a brother Jerry Wayne LaPrade of Martinsville, and a grandson.  Friends were received for an hour before the service and  at other times at the home of Jerry LaPrade, 1037 Owens Road, Chatham Heights.
