What are we discussing? How about a hot topic...

The Election!
NO
Britney Spears!
Double-no

How about...

What was the weirdest, scariest or silliest thing you've done since graduation?

Me? I've done so many, it's hard to choose.

Weird: Got a Crime Scene Associates after BFA, including FBI course in fingerprint classification

Scary: Got robbed at knifepoint in Jamaica

Silly: Again, way too many. How about last year's Zombie walk? Let's see if this handles HTML

And, I'm not done yet!

Most of my stories deal with death or destruction so I'll concede to Mary. Tell us more Mary.

I'll have to with Mary on this one too Keith! However, you've got to have at least 1 or 2 "indecents" you can share with folks!

Keith, as a firefighter, I am sure you have a great rescue story. Also, knowing how women respond to the 'hot man in the suit', I'll bet you have a funny story about some gal talking you up. I see too, that you have kids, I'll bet you've got some fun stories about them!

Mary... kids always give good stories. My son was visiting my mother and friends. The family they were with was playing board games. They inquired of my son if he knew how to play any games. As they read the games available he delightfully responded that he knew how to play TROUBLE.

OOPS...Wrong button.
They were amazed that he was aware how to play. So they asked him about the rules. His reply was, that's when Daddy says you're in trouble and sets you in time out.

Cindy, "indecents" brings up a story. Goes along with Mary's comment about women liking men in the suit.
Had an older (70) lady who liked to drink more than most. She had broken her upper arm and never got it taken care of. This resulted in an upper arm with a pivot point. I mean the arm swang freely. She usually needed help getting up and was very fond of men in uniform. She often would grab the guy closest to her and pull him on top of her with a few choice words. It was funny when we had a new guy cause he never saw it coming.
Guess I do have a few stories.
NEXT!!!

I love to tell stories to my 2 daughters, and their favorites are stories about when I was growing up (I think they think it was the Old Days.) I have several types of stories I tell them: Uncle Tim stories (cautionary tales about my older brother, usually involving fire, driving too fast, or tricking me ) and Naughty Student stories (from my days of teaching) usually top the list, but their all time favorites are "Beverly Stermer Stories." In my house, she is like a mythical creature--or maybe a Hermione Granger/ Hannah Montana character...someone they'd like to be like, but they are sure could never really exist. Bedtime and car trips are never boring in our house! But unlike Mary, I don't have any photos to support my stories--just happy memories!

I like both stories, Keith. The TROUBLE one is high-larious! And, with the 70-year old lady, just how much is more than most? My 92 year old grandmother can still drink a sailor under the table!

MiMi, OMG, if I had kids, Bev sure would be in their story lexicon. Holy, moly!

Beverly, thanks for all the laughs. I think I have taken on your role out here in Phoenix. :P

Tim, whazzup yo? You got a fun story???
