INDEPENDENCE - Janice I. Weber, 65, of rural Independence, died Tuesday, June 7, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, after a short illness.
She was born Jan. 9, 1946, in West Union, daughter of L. Ralph and Doris Elaine Poor Vargason. She married Thomas Edward Weber Oct. 17, 1975, in Independence.
Mrs. Weber graduated from high school in Maynard in 1965. She was a caregiver for her family and was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Independence.
Survived by: her husband; and a son, Chris of Muscatine.
