Larry L. Moede
(October 9, 1946 - April 11, 2011)

Larry L. Moede, 64 years old, of 705 Horicon St., Horicon, WI, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011, at his home.  Larry was born on Oct. 9, 1946 in Beaver Dam, to Rudolph and Erna (Musack) Moede.

He attended St. John's Lutheran Grade School in Mayville, and graduated from Mayville High School in 1964.  He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Glasgow, Scotland, and in Charleston, NC.  He was employed at Mayville Engineering Comany and at John Deere Horicon Works.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, but due to ill health, he was home caring for his two dogs, Ziffer and Vada.

Larry is survived by three Children, Tammy Rowell of Arden, NC, Kevin (Holly) Moede of Hendersonville, NC, and Sean Moede of Milwaukee; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; four brothers, Roger (Jackie) Schiess of Mayville, Jerry (Diane) Moede of Mayville, Roy (Beth) Moede of Arden, NC, and Loren Moede of Horicon; one sister, Donna (Walter) Bushkie of Horicon; neices, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Erna; his father, Rudolph; two sisters, Ethel Heinecke and Myrna (George) Michaels; one brother-in-law; and one nephew, Gary Heinecke of Horicon.

Visitation: A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 16, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. 

Services: A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 16, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  The Rev. James Mallmann will officiate.
