Welcome Class of '78!

What a great weekend!  Our 30th reunion has come and gone, and those who came hopefully all had a good time!  Those who came to the get-together at Elaine Bergman's back yard were: Randy & Kris (Bergman) Versdahl, Wes & Ruth (Thompson) Vetter, Linda (Stenmoen) Cole and friend Sev, Troy & Ruth (Brekke) Palmer), Dan & Mary (Burslie) Schow, Tim & Beth (Strom) Fortin, Becky Stordahl and friend Lori, Ellen (Vaa) Vinnola, DeAnna Haagenson, Mary (Nornes) Espeseth,  Donna (Knudson) Weisz, Gail Anderson, Nancy (Versdahl) Gravalin, Tim Rolf, and Darlene (Johnson) Dierkes.  Dale Hartel stopped by just as the last classmates were leaving.  

Kris had a great idea of doing a "Lawn Chair Brigade", and we had nine brave souls who performed it in the parade, to John Philip Sousa's "Stars & Stripes Forever".   It was a hit, and was received with much applause!  We heard from many parade-goers that it was THE BEST entry in the parade! 

DeAnna also invited all of us over to her house for the fireworks over Lake Cameron in Erskine on Friday night.  Sheila (Cannon) Swiers came for that event, as did many of the same people from that afternoon.   Thanks to both Dee and Kris/Elaine for hosting us!
