Bart Spraberry

Yes, it's true, my last name is now "Blair." I haven't been a "Spraberry" since 1991.

While I was in Austin ('88-'91) I had the opportunity to perform in a number of theatre shows in the city and found that I was having the repeated problem of people (particularly the media) unable to remember, spell or otherwise pronounce "Spraberry." So when I left Texas and started performing on the regional theatre circuit, I legally changed my last name to Blair (which was my middle name and my grandmother's maiden name). So, it's a family name, just not the one I was born with.
