Fellow Members, 

Thanks go out to everyone that has shown an interest in The Former McKinney Police Officer website and reunion. Hopefully, you all know the reunion date is Saturday, March 13, 2010. It will be held at the Rock Creek Ranch event center and we have a map located in the navigation area on the left side of the page. 

We have also implemented features within this website that makes the committee’s job a little easier. In your profile there is a question that asks if you are going to attend. Marking it will allow other members to know if you are attending the reunion. There is also an All Year Reunion navigation link that will give us information to expedite your check-in. The last is a MPD Reunion Survey link that will allow you to order your entrée choice, if eating. You will also find lodging information, attendance prices and payment instructions within that link. Please note that we are not collecting monies at the door, so please follow the payment directions if you wish to attend. Alternatively, we do not wish to exclude anyone that wants to attend, so if you might be lacking the funds to attend please contact Steve Deffibaugh or Dennis Hughes via private message or email. 

We have recently activated the Gallery and with Diana Tilton’s efforts there are pictures posted there. Feel free to post your own and please bring your scrapbooks and memorabilia to the reunion. We will be posting the reunion schedule soon, so please be checking the blue navigation area for pertinent information. 

There is discussion going on about the possibility of a Former McKinney Police Officer Association. Thoughts about this association are strictly social and a way of being able to keep up with your former colleagues. This thinking is what this reunion was born of. This topic will also be brought up at the reunion so please keep it in your thoughts. 

This reunion is a BYOB affair. There will be no alcohol or setups furnished. If you wish to bring alcoholic beverages in you must take them to the bar area and give it to the bartender. They have plenty of refrigerated space to keep beverages cold and will accommodate you.
