Sherrie Caley-Seig, age 50, of Carlisle, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 at her home. Born July 29, 1962 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of Beverly (Fleagle) Caley of Mechanicsburg and the late Edwin Caley.
Sherrie was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, Class of 1980. She attended First United Methodist Church in Mechanicsburg, was active in the Adopt-a-Soldier and Adopt-a-Platoon programs, and in past years was a youth soccer coach. Sherrie loved the outdoors, including hiking and wildlife photography, especially on trips to the country's national parks such as Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, and Glacier National Park.
Surviving is her husband, Scott A. Seig and her daughter, Dani M. Seig.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 16 at First United Methodist Church, 135 W. Simpson Street, Mechanicsburg. There will be a visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at the church.
