Spencer A. Manthorpe, Jr.

1963-2016

       Spencer A. Manthorpe, Jr. passed away suddenly on December 8, 2016 at the age of 53. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Clarke) Manthorpe. Devoted father of Shelbey Ann, Stacey Ann, Robbie and Sidney Ann.

        Spencer was an Eagle Scout, Helicopter Pilot and Medic in the US Army and a member of the PA National Guard. He ran a small construction company until his children were born when he retired to take on his most important role as a full time father to his children.

       He is also survived by his parents Spencer A. and Sandra A. Manthorpe; in-laws Robert and Kathy Clarke; brother of Amanda and Bill Davies, Clayton A. and Wendy Manthorpe; brother-in-law of Patti and Fran Downey, Nancy and Joe Vizzard. Loving uncle of Allison Stratton (Nate), Kimberly and Colleen Downey, Veronica, Arden and Andrew Vizzard, Will and Henry Davies, Rebecca and Sam Manthorpe.

         Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Monday evening 7-9pm and Tuesday morning 9:30-10:15am at the Ruffenach Funeral Home, 4900 Township Line Rd., Drexel Hill. His Funeral Mass will be Tuesday 10:30am at St. Dorothy Church. Interment will be private.
