Lawrence Frederick Dotts

Lawrence F. “Larry” Dotts, 57, of Chester Heights, an operations manager, died Oct. 13.
Born and raised in Media, Mr. Dotts there for 24 years before moving to Chester Heights 32 years ago. He graduated from Penncrest High School in 1969 and Albright College.
Mr. Dotts worked for 33 years at E&R Industrial as its operations manager. He was a member of the Society for the Advancement of Management, the Media Area Sports Hall of Fame and the Media Oldtimers Association. Mr. Dotts volunteered with the Brandywine Youth Club, where he coached girls’ softball. He was an accomplished athlete and an avid sports fan with a fondness for all Philadelphia sports teams.
Mr. Dotts was also a drummer for several bands. He had a great sense of humor and appreciated his family and friends.
Mr. Dotts enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed family time in Stone Harbor, N.J. He strongly believed in the Gift of Life donor program and was a proud donor himself.
Mr. Dotts was son of the late Frederick and Blanche Dotts. Survivors: Wife of 34 years, Elizabeth “Betsy” Dotts; daughters, Sarah Graham of Media, Kate Sager of Bellefonte; brother, Terry Dotts of Media; three grandchildren.
Service and burial: Private.
