Susan died of ovarian cancer on December 9, 1997. The photo of her with Claire was taken exactly one month earlier at my brother’s wedding. Her daughter Claire was adopted by her grandparents (my parents) and became a mechanical engineer working at Disney in Orlando, Paris and China. She is now the Lead Engineer at the Magic Kingdom.

Sue was an illustrator and artist who worked for various advertising agencies (one of her drawings) in South Florida.
