David L. Torpey, age 62, died Monday December 23 2013 at Riddle Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. David was born in Delaware County to Frank and Eileen Torpey and resided there all of his life. He graduated from Widener University and worked in the oil and sales industries. David shares an August 3rd birthday with his beloved and only grandchild Lilianna. In addition to his parents and granddaughter, David is survived by his daughter Lauren Marie, son Brian, sister Karen Herman, brother-in-law John Herman, and his nephews John, Rob, and Dave. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th [time TBD] at John J Bryers Funeral Home 406 North Easton Road Willow Grove Pennsylvania 19090. Interment will be private. Flowers are welcome but donations may be made in David’s name to The School in Rose Valley 20 School Lane Rose Valley, PA 19063 where his granddaughter attends the 5th grade.
