James Christopher Braselman, age 59 James Christopher Braselman, age 59, of York, entered into rest on Sunday, October 27, 2103 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jim fiercely fought to stay in this life after his 2010 cardiac crisis which was a result of treatment of Hodgkin's Lymphoma more than 30 years ago. Jim was known for his warmth and loving disposition, his intellect and his love of life. He always had a positive outlook, enjoyed the company of many, and had a way of igniting joy and laughter that was contagious.

He brought a spirited delight to gatherings, but was also serious minded when it pertained to community concerns. Jim loved music, good food, good dining, wit, and literature. He also treasured kayaking with his "commando brothers". Born July 25, 1954 in Media, he was the son of the late Herbert and Dorothy (Snell) Braselman.

He was a 1972 graduate of Penncrest High School, and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Gettysburg College in 1976. He started his sales career in the print and photocopy industry and transitioned to environmental software where he held several executive positions as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, as well as Business Development.
