Chuck Stine

Charles D. Stine, age 55, of 4656 Racetrack Road, St. Thomas, died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Friday, November 05, 2010 in his home. Born on February 22, 1955 in Waynesboro, PA, he was a son of the late Ambrose J. Stine and Peggy Decker Stine.

Chuck was employed as a plant manager with Manitowoc Crane in Greencastle. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Detrich-Brechbill Post 612 in St. Thomas and its 40 et 8 club, the Marine Corps League in Chambersburg, and the Fannett Metal Rod and Gun Club. Aside from his job, his hobbies included hunting, working in his garage, and playing poker.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 13 years, Trudy Forsythe Stine, whom he married on July 4, 1997; four children, Patricia (and husband, Patrick) Wright of St. Thomas, Dawn (and partner, Richard Russell) Hockenberry of Chambersburg, Matthew (and wife, Angie) Stine of Mercersburg, and Cory (and wife, Amy) Stine of St. Thomas; one sister, Pandora (and husband, Rodney) Yeakle of Upton; his grandmother, Helen Beaver of Fayetteville; and nine grandchildren, Samantha, Shane, Felicia, McKenzie, Hayden, Blake, Connor, Madison, and Presley.
