Barbara Kaminski (Marino)

MIDDLETOWN - Barbara A. (Kaminski) Marino, 47, beloved wife of Paul Marino, passed away Friday May 2, 2008, at Midstate Medical Center in Meriden, after a long courageous battle with cancer. 

She was born July 15, 1960, in Meriden, the daughter of Eileen (Clark) Driscoll of Uncasville and the late Leonard V. Kaminski. Barbara was a graduate of Platt High School, class of 1978, and last employed by Mortgage Lenders Network. 

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Michelle Marino and James Marino, both of Middletown; mother-in-law, Violet Marino of Meriden; stepfather, William Driscoll of Uncasville; two brothers, Joseph Kaminski and his wife, Maureen of Norwich, and Bill Driscoll and his wife, Sharon of Salem, Mass.; two sisters, Kim Davis Bechtold and her husband, AJ Bechtold of Meriden, and Ann Marie Driscoll Wolfe and her husband, John Wolfe of Midlothian, Texas; and brother-in-law, Fredrick Marino Jr. of Meriden. She was loved dearly by several nieces and nephews, Michael Kaminski of Brooklyn, N.Y., Joseph Kaminski Jr. and his wife, Christin of Austin, Alaska, Christopher Kaminski of Norwich, Jade Davis and her fiancée, Kevin Edwards of Meriden, and Cierra and Kaylee Wolfe of Midlothian, Texas. She also has two great-nephews, Joshua Kaminski of Norwich and Cody Kaminski of Austin, Alaska. 

Barb had many friends who loved her. She loved to spend time with friends and family. Her cheerful disposition and strong enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by all. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home, Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
