Nancy Mancini

Born in Meriden on Oct. 12, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Bette (Hart) Mancini. She had resided in Meriden for most of her life before moving to Cheshire. She attended local schools and was a 1978 graduate of Orville H. Platt High School. Mrs. Stevens was employed by the State of Connecticut as a social worker for 27 years. She was the president of the Meriden Marine Corps League Women's Auxiliary Post 45. She was involved with the Special Olympics for a number of years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Clock and her husband, Andrew, of Southington; one son, Justin A. Stevens, of Cheshire; six brothers, Charles Mancini and his wife, Sandy, of South Dakota, Benn Mancini Sr., and his wife, Rosemarie, of Bristol, Bobby Mancini and his wife, Vivian, of Virginia, Stephen Mancini, of New Hampshire, Brian Mancini and his wife, Lisa, of Meriden and Anthony Mancini and his wife, Kim, of Waterbury. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Friday, May 24, at 6:30 p.m. at The John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden. Burial will be private.
