Robin L. Berndt, 44, of North Colony Road, Meriden, wife of Timothy J. Berndt, died unexpectedly on Friday, (April 30, 2004) at her home. Born in Southington on October 6, 1959, she was the daughter of Georgianna (Taylor) Angiletta of Meriden.

She had resided in Meriden all of her life and was a graduate of Platt High School, Class of 1978. Mrs. Berndt was employed by Eastern Rehabilitation Network, Meriden, and North End Auto Co. Besides her husband Timothy, she is survived by a daughter, Courtney Berndt of Torrington; and a son, Eric Berndt and his wife Lianna of Rocky Hill; five sisters, Jacquiline Hill and her husband David of Vermont, Holly Berndt and her husband Thomas of Meriden, Marcia Novicelli and her husband James of Wallingford, Mellissa McGray and her husband Edward of Meriden, and Roberta Angiletta of Meriden; and by a brother, Robert Angiletta and his wife Patricia of Meriden. She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law, Ronald and Barbara Berndt of Meriden; and by several nieces and nephews, and also by her two dogs and companions, ``Gant'' and ``Buddy''.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 4, at 10 a.m. in the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main Street, Meriden, with Rev. Robert Roy of St. Joseph Church, officiating. Burial will be private in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., P.O. Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450-1004.
