I will always miss Danee. She and I have so many memories and I thank the Lord we stayed in touch until the day before she died. I will always miss her and love her. Karen
I find it hard to write anything, I love Danee and we had a lot of fun together. We ran 17 miles in a Walkathon, we cut class, we were in "in house suspension" for a week, we cleaned her room so she could run around with the rest of us, got caught (by my mom) driving someone's car and none of us had a drivers license, we drank wine at the catholic church and I loved her with all my heart.... Chonne
I know about the "clean your room, then you can go out" thing that Danee's mom, Lee, would pull on us. I hung out with Danee' from about 7th grade. We used to spend hours cleaning her room and cleaning the ENTIRE house. Even after feeding and watering ALL of the rabbits (there must've been 60 - my family had about 40) on many occasions she still wasn't allowed to go out! So we'd just hang out in her room and play "truth or dare" and sneak boys in! Just a note: For any of you who had the pleasure of dining at our houses; (Danee's, Chonne's, or my place) . . . . nooooo, it was NOT chicken you were eating.
Anyway, we did manage on occasion, to get Danee' out (and there were even a few parties held at Danee's house, the trailer, when Lee was away!) I miss Danee' too, and I miss our silliness! Jeanette
I remember cleaning Danee's room too. Wouldn't you think with all of us cleaning she would have had the cleanest room in town!! Danee' was special to all of us.
Danee' you were the Greatest sister to grow up with and to go through school with from kindergarten to Graduation. I'm sure you will always have that big kind heart, that big funny laugh and big smile on your face. Dad did one thing right when he married your mom [Lee] and brought you and Linni-Quas to us. I am so thankful that Dona Norton, Linni-Quas and myself were able to make it to see you before you left us. I Love You. Been missing you. Happy Birthday Feb 24th 1960 Love Richie
I remember singing "the lion sleeps tonight" with Danee, she had a terrible voice and knew it, we laughed and laughed. We would go for hikes and I was ALWAYS lost, she always found our way home for us. Teresa
