Lois originally made friends with me because she liked my brother Brian, but when we got to know each other we remained friends, even when she and Brian broke up. She was a lot of fun! I remember Cathy, Lois and I scrounging all the spare change we had (about $2.00!) to buy enough gas to go cruising for an afternoon in M'town in my Dad's company car - a little red MG convertible or a mustard green TR-7. For $2 bucks we could get 1/2 a tank of gas. Once Lois zipped her jacket up over her head and sat on the trunk of the car (we had the top down) and we drove all over town with her looking like the headless horseman. Lois was Brian's first love, and he is very sad to hear about her passing, as am I. She was a great friend.
