Hi everyone! I can't believe that it's been 20 years! This site is fun and I'm glad to see everyone is doing well!

Basically I never stopped dancing! I have been able to travel alot to choreograph (and play!) My husband and I love to go boating, travel, ski, surf and live life to the fullest!

*What I've been up to since 1988...
I went to The University of Utah (Dance Department)and began my teaching career the moment I finished high school! I also back up danced for a band (whoa - I'm suprised we could stand up during the shows, let alone dance! Ha!)

I started coaching the drill team at Hillcrest in 1990...it was like I never left high school - crazy! We just won our 9th Region Championship, our 5th State Championship and our 10th National Championship! They are amazing dancers!

In 1992 the Utah Jazz started the Nu Skin Jazz Dancers and I am proud to say that we were the first to wear the new LA Gear light up tennis shoes in a world premier performance... Whatever! So dumb! If that doesn't show our age! It was really fun to perform at the All Star Weekend and the Stay in School Jam though! One year of that was definetly enough!

I was set up on a blind date (thanks Kir & Nick) with a guy that many of you probably knew (Johnny Searle - Alta baseball, extreme skier and partier extrodinar!) He is the love of my life, and we were married in 1995. That was the best day!

I have had the opportunity to choreograph for Bowl Games of America (the Alamo Bowl and Gator Bowl - my husband liked those perks!)As well as the Paris New Years Day Parade and the Winter Olympics Opening & Closing Ceremonies. During the closing ceremonies, one of the back up dancers for KISS could not perform so...I instantly became a featured Dancer for KISS - really cold, but fun!

In 2003, 3 of my best friends and I started a summer dance camp called Basic Dance Training (BDT). It's been very successful and we work with almost every Utah drill team as well as some from Wyoming, Idaho and Nevada! I love teaching and coaching and between my studio and Hillcrest, I work with around 400 kids ranging in age from 3 to 18 each year! Thats probably why I have no kids of my own!

Congrats to everyone on so many great accomplishments! Your children are beautiful and I wish you all the happiness in the world!

School Story:

I remember...
*The real "High School Musical" days! (Ha)
*And of course Dance Company Concerts, Drill Team and Songleading!
*Basketball games!
*Peter Piper pizza after the games!
*Parties at Kirstens!
*Sluffing school, driving up the canyon and laying out on top of the biggest rock we could find to get a tan. (Robyn Mousley was not happy with us when we got back!)
*Pegging our pants and "scrunchie" socks!
*The bigger the bangs, the better!
*Wearing sunglasses at graduation...
*Going to Mazatlan for Graduation...being in Mazatlan - not so much! Ha!
And having more friends and fun than I could imagine! Thanks for the good times!
