Hello everyone, Just wanted to let everyone know the I got together with Rob Rathmell, Tim Walker, Richard Aungst, and Josh Welty on Friday and Tim wants to have our 20 year reunion on his mom's property and do a pig roast and people can pitch tents for lodging purposes. I think it sounds like a great idea! Let me know what you think.
What about a reunion in LAS VEGAS!!!!! Rooms are pretty cheap at some of the places and if we book enough they can be even cheaper. Plenty of fun in Vegas to be had. If we start collecting or saving up money for it now, that will give everyone one year to get enough money. The rest can be put on credit cards and even have a chance to win some or all back. Gotta love the Craps table!
Sorry everyone, haven't checked this site in awhile, so I didn't know of any reunion questions... I attented one meeting so far with Ashley, April, Tim, Darlene & Rob - we definately need some addresses, so I'll have Ashley check here for any updates (she has "the book") we communicate a lot thru Facebook, so I'll make sure she posts news there also. If any of you have any info on any classmates, let one of us know. Love the idea of Vegas for a reunion, not sure of $$$$$, but since I got married there, it would be extra special for me. ;) We did discuss having reunion at someone's property, I believe it was at Ben Krape's, but don't quote me. Not sure where yet, or when, but we need money!! We might have $200-Ashley has account. We discussed some fundraisers. Will post here any final decisions. Last text from Ashley; hasn't heard anything about raffle tix or where we're having it yet, suggested another meeting. I will post here when I know of a date or time-anyone can come & voice their opinion
Just another thought - what about having it back at the Ginetti (however you spell it) where we had our senior ball. They have a pool there so maybe we can do an afternoon pool party with dinner and dance at end. They should have the alcohol already. NOt sure how expensive it is.
In case you haven't heard, Karen Robinson passed away August 11, 2010. Obituary is in The Express (Aug 13 edition). Not many details as of right now. Her father isn't doing well either. Please keep her family in your prayers.
