SHAMP Jeff "Bucky" Jeff "Bucky" Shamp, age 47, of Millbury, OH, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, as the result of a snowmobile accident. On July 21, 1962, he was born to Donald and Barbara (Harpel) Shamp in Oregon, OH. He was employed as an excavator for Ohio Excavating, Sylvania, OH and was also a farmer. Jeff was a member of Lakewood Church of the Brethren, Millbury, OH and in his spare time enjoyed snowmobiling. Jeff is survived by his sons: Dylan, Dallas and Logan Shamp, all of Genoa, OH; parents, Don and Barb Shamp; sister, Sherri (Randy) Johns; nieces, Ellen, Hannah and Clair Johns, all of Millbury, OH. Friends and family will be received on Friday, February 12, 2010, from 3-9 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 13, 2010, at 11 AM from Lakewood Church of the Brethren, Millbury, OH, where there will be additional visitation from 10 AM until time of services. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Routh. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery, Walbridge, OH. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at Lakewood Church of the Brethren immediately following the cemetery committal services. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be given to The Educational Trust Fund for Jeff's Sons.
