After high school, I attended Southern Seminary College (not religious) in Buena Vista, VA. for two years and then transferred to Lock Haven University where I majored in journalism. After college, I went to work as a staff writer for the Solanco Sun Ledger newspaper in Quarryville for 12 years until it folded in 2009. While there, I won three Keystone Press Awards for newswriting. Mr. Kaufhold from PM wouldn't believe it.
I now work for the County of Lancaster and am a correspondent for Lancaster Newspapers.
