Mark Sheets

SUNBURY — Mark H. Sheets, 36, of Sunbury, passed away

Friday, March 23, 2007, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville,

after a long brave battle with cancer.

He was born in Lewisburg Nov. 29, 1970, a son of Mary Ellen Smith

of Pottsgrove and the late Robert H. Sheets. He was married the

former Lynett L. Diehl on Feb. 14, 2003.

Mark grew up in Pottsgrove and graduated from Milton High School in 1988.

He worked as a truck driver (which he absolutely loved) for PJax in Harrisburg and formerly worked for Reinhart Food Service.

Mark was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ, Sunbury.

He was very family oriented and loved spending as much time with family as possible.

He loved to travel and had many friends. He enjoyed the company of all people.

Mark also enjoyed woodworking and doing crafts.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children, Ashley and twins Kyle R. and Kelsey J. Sheets, all of New Columbia; stepchildren, Ginger N. Shultz of Pittsburgh and Megan D. Staley of Sunbury; two sisters, Carmen E. Ellington of Mifflinburg and Judy E. Chestnut of Watsontown; two nephews; one niece; one great-nephew; and two great-nieces.

His brother Edwin R. Sheets preceded him in death.

Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Reformed United Church of Christ, Second and Chestnut streets, Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jonathan P. Albright officiating.

Disposition will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
