Karen and I were married in January of 1977 at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington, WI. We moved to Shorewood, and then purchased our first home in Milwaukee in 1980. Our two daughters where born in 1984 and 1987.
I converted to the Roman Catholic Church in 1991 and have been active in our parishes ever since.
We moved to Barneveld in 1993 and happily live in the beautiful Iowa County Village. Ever since moving to Southwest Wisconsin my wife and I have cantored in church, sometimes with organ sometimes not. I have recently joined our local Knight's of Columbus order. 2009 was a challenging year for both my wife Karen and I, Karen spent 5 months in Saint Mary's Hospital and then 5 months in specialty hospitals and nursing homes, she returned home on December 19th, 2009 and is doing well. In May of 2009 I underwent open heart surgery and had triple bi-pass surgery. My health has improved and I now am able to walk my 110 lb. black Labrador retriever "Gus" anywhere we please. Wishing all who read this health, peace and faith through our Common Savior- Jesus Christ.
