We returned to the States at the end of 2004 after 15 years as missionaries in PNG. Those years were wonderful and God taught me so much about who He is...His sovereignty over all things, His goodness and His faithfulness. I thank Him for those years because the things He taught me in PNG helped get me through all that has happened since that time, including my fathers death and the breakup of my marriage. God has been amazingly faithful and I thank Him for the beauty He has brought out of the ashes. I know He is sovereign over all that has happened and continues to work in all that comes for my good, my kids good and for His glory. He has blessed me with 4 wonderful kids, each of whose faith has been tested and remains strong...I praise God for this! Also, He has blessed me with an amazingly supportive family....my kids and I have lived with my mom since my husband left and being with Mom has been an amazing provision from the Lord. I thank Him also for an incredible network of godly friends and a phenomenal church, Redeemer Bible Church in Minnetonka. God has been and continues to be so good. I know He will continue to guide and sustain no matter what comes. My kids and I love Isaiah 41:10. God is good! |
