I lived two doors away from Paul on 28th & Fremont Avenue SO. Debbie Dean lived in between our houses. We spent a lot of time on the swingset at Paul's house, and we played with his two sisters, Jane and Judy, too.
Paul had a lot of allergies as a child and it was ultimately an allergy to bees that led to his death as a young adult. He was a resident of Farmington, MN at the time he passed. As kids do, we had disagreements from time to time. I remember that Paul would kick us off his swingset when we didn't agree about something. It was his biggest power. I also remember Paul being the only boy I ever punched. Of course, I was kicked off the swingset for that one!
