Jan did not graduate with us but you may remember him and his brother Sven.

Jan was at West for for two years before returning to Norway. His father was the assistant counsel from Norway to Minneapolis. Jan and his fraternal twin Sven returned to Norway in the summer of 1967 when his father's appointment to Minneapolis ended.

Jan enjoyed his time in Minneapolis. He became a Twins fan and attended many games.

Jan became a lawyer in Oslo, married his wife Hege while still in law school, had a son Lars and two grandchildren, William and Matilda.

Jan was born in Oslo August 2, 1950.

Jan died in Oslo December 22, 2015 of Parkinson's.
