I have lived in Helena since 1985 working at First Bank System as proof supervisor and later as an account specialist in cash management. First Bank reorganized at which time I lost my job in 1994. It was a bad year that year, my Dad passed away, I lost my job and got a divorce.
I decided to stay in Helena as Missoula had changed so much, so many people and Helena was smaller! But it is not as friendly as Missoula.
I then went to work at One Way Marine and love the diversity of this position and it is a fun job!
I remarried in 1996, and we enjoy riding our a.t.v.'s and fish walleyes and northerns frequently. Fort Peck is always a fun adventure as you never know what you will catch. My biggest walleye is 13 pounds 10 ounces, and northern is 23 pounds...I want a 25 pounder for the wall!
I have been past treasurer and president of the Helena Chapter of Walleye's Unlimited as try to protect the species. I miss the wonderful years I grew up on the Northfork and Blackfoot Rivers and Ovando, but as with everything, all great things come to an end.
I love to garden and it is a great "stress reliever"!
I also am a part time massage and cranial sacral therapist, which is my fun "second" job! I love helping people.!
I don't have kids but my nieces have kids are I love spoiling them!
