- Next Meeting on April 5, 2009 4PM is when the $$ is due or any unsold tickets must be returned
- $820 (funplex $520, dj, $200 security $100) is cost … real cost is $720 as the security cost is waived; sale a minimum of 41 to break even and to meet the contract obligation (of 40)
- This event should be marketed as ‘Adults Only’
- Everyone will arrive at Funplex at 5:30PM on April 9, 2009
- Committee members to dress in 80s attire
- Dionne to check on security … Kelvin has agreed to do the security for free on April 9, 2009. The committee agreed to give Kelvin Raven a $50 credit towards the reunion weekend activities for his services. Funplex as the alternate/back-up for security if needed … security is not a requirement, but is recommended.
- Dexter paid the deposit to Funplex and was reimbursed at the March 7th meeting; he also paid his seed money
- Petrina designed the tickets
- Niche/Charles printed the tickets and had them ready for distribution (thanks to Toni for her help)
- Roderick to front the money for the DJ cost and will be reimbursed at the April 5th meeting
Summer Bash Party (Hookah Bar or the Identity Bar) OR Grooves
- June 13 … OR any weekend except Juneteenth OR May
- Dionne to research Grooves and will give an update during the 4/5 meeting
- Research alternate date in May (weekend of May 25) memorial day would be ideal … we may make more money during this weekend as it is not during the typical summer months
- Strive to get 20% of the bar sales/no cover charge … regardless of the number of people that show up
July BBQ Beach Party
- Rent of Beach house … Dionne to research beach house weekend and cost; Shay also has a contact
- Sale BBQ

- Beach Volleyball, spades, dominos

Reunion Weekend Activities
- Date: June 2010 … I think we should also research October 2010 to give us a price comparison.
- Budget $10K (this number is very low … $25K is more realistic); Target 150-250 people to attend … @$10K cost per person for 250 is $40; @ $15K cost per person for 250 is $60; @$25K cost per person for 250 is $100 per person.
- Friday – mixer/karaoke something fun at no cost
- Saturday – Hotel, Restaurant, Club (dance, mingle, drink, live band, food, entertainment)
- Sunday – Funplex, Beach (renting a beach house), Park; if Funplex 250 at $13/person = $3250
- Action Item: Each committee member to research options and come prepared with a proposal/recommendation by the next meeting (4/5)

- Stacy Williams has provided some preliminary numbers from the Marriott where we had our prom ($10K for 250 people or $40/person) … Saturday only
