My life after DHS:
I married Paul Tomlinson, Tyler's dad in 1989, too young. After 5 years, we went our separate ways, but remained good friends and partners in parenting Tyler until Paul's death.
After a couple of years of Tyler and I being on our own, I remarried Mark in November of 1996. (I am still amazed that Mark and I went to high school together, and had many, many friends in common, but never knew each other.) Mark and I have two wonderful daughters, Bentley & Mallory.
I am fairly content with my life. I am mom to three wonderful children who keep me very busy. I love that I can be an involved parent - I try to be active in whatever the kids are doing. Time and experience has allowed me to do a better job of this with the girls than I did with Tyler.
I know I am blessed and I am fairly content with where I am in life. (There are still so many things that I want to do!) I hope that I am living life as an adventure, with a good balance between pursuit of whatever is next and taking the time to enjoy where I am right now.
