Jean V. Gellerstedt, Jr. 67, of Moline, passed away Sunday, October 4 2015 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island. 

Visitation is from Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.

Jean was born July 24, 1948, in Moline, the son of Jean & Dorothy Gellerstedt, Sr. Jean worked for George Evans in various manufacturing positions. He loved his family & friends. Jean enjoyed playing competitive billards, fishing, antique & muscle cars, watching various sports and loved listening to a wide range of music.

He is survived by daughter, Jade (Derek) Blasdell, son, John (Macaira) Gellerstedt, granddaughter, Aleia, mother, Dorothy Gellerstedt, sisters, Jackie Saisburry, & Phyllis Rice. He was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Steve & Michael Gellerstedt.
