Michael B. Buresh, 46, Moline, formerly of Fort Collins, Colo., where he lived for 20 years, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998, at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.

Services are 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, and 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Moline, Robert E. Lee, pastor of Sacred Heart Church officiating. Burial is in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Visitation is 3 to 7 p.m. today at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, with a rosary at 6:30 p.m.

He was born April 24, 1952, in Moline, the son of Arnold L. and Dorothy L. Creen Buresh.

He was employed at Country Bay Foods and Carpenter's Edge, both of Fort Collins, Colo., as a saleman. He also worked for City of Moline Planning Department.

He was a graduate of Moline High School and attended Western Illinois University, Macomb. He was a member of North American Hunting Club and The Fort Collins Pulse Club, both of Fort Collins, Colo.; and The Friends Circle Club, Moline.

He was a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Buresh, Moline; an aunt and uncle, Rose and Joseph Mendel, East Moline; an aunt, Ruth Heinen, Roseville, Minn.; a great-aunt, Gertrude Creen; cousins, Jack and Mary Holzer, Overland Park, Kan., Patty Heinen, Roseville, Minn., Kathy Thomas, Dublin, Ohio, Joe Mendel, Delaware, Ohio, Patty Speir, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Cyndi Waters, Charleston, S.C., Paul, Betsy and John O'Meara, Moline, Bill Creen, Greer, S.C., and Jon Buresh, St. Louis, Mo.; and special friends, Reiko Gifford, Fletch Sanderson, Charles Denning and Bill Carlson, all of Fort Collins, Colo., Diane and Kevin Stokeld, Mardelle Hayes, Ethel Quansy, Lois Wilson, Sally Van Otheghem, Katherine Ryckeghem, Barbara Reed, Grace Fisher and Beverly Pilichowski, all of Moline.

His father, Arnold, preceded him in death Jan. 10, 1987.
