Timothy Dyer

Timothy L. Dyer, 49, of Dublin, Ohio., formerly of Moline, passed away Friday July 25, 2003, at his home.

Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Esterdahl Mortuary, 6601 38th Ave., Moline. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial is in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Riverside/Grant, 3595 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH 43214 or to the American Cancer Society.

Tim was born Dec. 21, 1953, in Moline, son of Floyd W. and Delores Dyer. He married Theresa "Terrie' Scherer Jan. 11, 1975, in Moline.

Tim was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a co-owner, along with his wife Terrie, of Presto Sales, Tupperware Distributors, in Springfield, Ill. In 1997, he moved to Columbus, where he was employed by Riverside Methodist Hospital as an instrument technician.

Survivors (and spouses) include his wife, Terrie; daughters, Tobey (Greg) Kline, Ypsilanti, Mich., Tiffany (Tim) Stein, Madison, Wis.; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Kline; brothers, Dewey (Mary Ann) Dyer, Geneseo, Carlos (Pat) Dyer, Lexington, S.C., Guy Dyer, Davenport, Jeffrey (Lynette) Dyer, Memphis, Mo., Robert Dyer, Moline, David (Brenda) Dyer, Columbia, S.C.; sister-in-law, Betsy Dyer, Ocean City, N.J.; mother-in-law, Lavora "Lollie" Scherer, Moline; brother-in-law, Jeffrey (Vickie) Scherer, Moline. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dick Dyer.
