Trent Rigg

Trent R. Rigg, 59, of East Moline, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, in Barstow.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, 6601 38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park where military honors will be performed by Moline American Legion Post 246. Memorials may be made to his family.

Trent was born on Nov. 9, 1953, in Moline, the son of Duane R. and G. Elaine Meyers Rigg.

He worked as an electronics technician for the Rock Island Arsenal for over 30 years, retiring in February of 2012. Trent was a United States Air Force veteran and enjoyed NASCAR and Bears football.

Survivors include his parents, Duane and G. Elaine Rigg, Moline; brothers, Desi (Lynne) Rigg, Taylor Ridge, Du Ethan (Tearesa) Rigg, Moline; nephews, Christopher, Scott and Ian (Amber) Rigg; special friends, Peggy Trask, Barstow, and Barb Grapengeter, Moline. He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Brent Rigg in 1973.
