It was this reporters pleasure to accompany one of the 'Grand PooBhas' of The 50th Reunion as she scouted locations in our Homeland of Monahans. Co-Chair Jamie Duncan Bradshaw, home for a visit with her Mother, solicited my company and assistance in the absence of Co-Chair Sue Pittman McPeak. Sue PooBhaed out of the trip due to a bout of Allergies/Sinus/Sick Sick Sick!!! Which by the way, for the next 2 1/2 years...Sick Sick Sick is out of OUR ... ALL of OUR...vocabulary. Don't even think about it!

...What did you say we are doing today? What's that? 50th Reunion!!! For who? Our Class? Are you sure? Okay, I'll get my note pad! Seriously...OUR 1965 CLASS...the one with Kathy Dendy, John Booth, Lynn Money, Myrtle Anderson, Ann Wilmon and Paul Edgerton? OMG I can't believe Paul is that old!

Okay, I guess I'm ready...I'll call this book 'The 65'er Reunion Guide'.
I'm thinkin' everyone will need one by 2014.
I hear that by that age having a Guide helps.
Do you think Ya'll will be able to find Monahans without a Guide?
Okay, Carol, if you say so! Your sure Jerry will still be driving by then?

We were surprised at how GREAT it looks.
It has been remodeled and is a great spot for dancing, eating, visiting, having a
class photo taken and just hanging out.
Many Thanks...Ward County for maintaining this facility!
We consulted with Jamie's Mother, Billie Duncan...who has been through the planning
and attending of a 50th Reunion.
She said we were 'On The Right Road To Our 50th'.
As it happens sometimes...Jamie and I had an 'Epiphany'...at the sametime!
The biggest challenge of this EVENT is NOT...
Where we are going to sleep.
Where we are going to eat.
or even
Where we are going to meet!
...IT IS...
For ALL of us to stay on the
'Right Side of The Dirt'
So 65'er Classmates...take your blood pressure meds, your thyroid pills,
your vitamins and have a sip...or two...of wine every day
...or whatever it takes...
Stay healthy and happy!
