07/13/08 11:18 AM #1     Dave Meanea WHEN DO YOU WANT TO HAVE THE REUNION? Options which have been suggested to this point: July 24th Homecoming (Oct. 10th & 11th) Next Summer As far as I've heard there has been nothing put together for the reunion yet. It's pretty late in the game to try to organize something for July 24th, and everybody's summer plans are pretty much set at this point. But there may be some people who were planning on being in Monroe for the celebration and hoping that's when the reunion would be. Lance Hamblin is flying in from Ohio, and would like to see anybody who can be there. If we put anything together, it probably wouldn't be much more than an informal get-together at the park the afternoon of the 24th. If we wait till homecoming, that would give us more time to actually plan something, as well as get in touch with more of our classmates to let them know. People may have a little easier time fitting it into their fall schedule than their summer schedule. It was also proposed that we could just have a 21st year reunion instead of a 20th. I think the plan (regardless of when we have it) is to make this one fairly casual, like our 15th was. Then we'll organize something more formal for the 25th, and really do it well. Please, everybody give their input...

09/23/08 07:59 PM #5     Blaine Bowden At the moment my dad is back home from thier Mission in Nauvoo, he has a really bad brain tumor and the family is taking turns heading down to Central. With work (I'm on call that weekend) and family obligations (we don't want to overwhelm mom by all showing up in Central at the same time) I'm not going to be able to make it. 10/09/08 11:44 PM #6     Dave Meanea Are we still planning on doing the reunion this weekend? Nobody's chimed in with ideas on where to meet and what they want to do. It's supposed to storm on Saturday, so a picnic at the city park probably isn't going to work. I have no idea how many people are going to show up, so planning food is pretty difficult. Let's do it this way: I'll be down there for the game on Friday night, and I'll keep most of the day open on Saturday. If you're also going to be there, call me at 435-300-3283, and I'll let you know if we've set a place to get together. Hope to see you there!

10/10/08 04:50 PM #10     Dave Meanea Here's the plan at this point: Tonight, let's just meet at the tailgate party before the game. Apparently, they have it near the football field there at the high school. I'll try to get us a table or find us an area where we can visit before the game. If you're interested in food I suspect you'll be able to buy some from the booster club or whoever puts on the tailgate party. Then we can go to the game. Saturday, I'm pretty sure we'll be able to get together at the high school in the home ec room. I'm scheduling it for 10am - noon. I'm thinking we won't do food because of the last-minute nature of this whole thing, and not having any idea how many people are going to show up. The students will be decorating the cafeteria for the homecoming dance, so you may need to go around the back of the building to the home ec outside door (on the north side of the building). If you have any problems or questions, call me at 435-300-3283.

THE DATE HAS BEEN SET: Saturday, July 25th, 2009. Please reserve that date as you plan your summer, we'd love for you to be there! Details to follow. Piute county EMT’S were busy working, and that’s a very rewarding job to have. I hope everyone is happy and healthy, life is to short not to enjoy it

08/12/09 03:42 PM #22     Holly Magleby Hi all, I had a great time at our reunion last month. It was so fun to see every one who was there. Hopefully next time more of our friends were able to come. I was sad to hear of Moroni's passing. I just read Jennifer Larson's post and found out how he died. One memory I have of him is when he & I double dated to our junior prom with Shelly James and Cory Turner. That was one of the funnest nights of my life because I thought I would'nt be going to the prom. I was so excited when Moroni asked me to go with him a few days before the prom. I feel bad about losing contact with him and so many of you. Thank you Dave for setting up this awesome website so we can all get back in contact again.

01/19/10 12:10 PM #23     Holly Magleby Dear friends, I heard something on the radio this morning that at least some of you may be interested in.I don't know if any of you remember Mr. Swindall from our elementary school days. I know that some of us had him as a teacher I think in 4th grade unless someone else remember him from a different grade.I heard that he passed away last week on the 15th and his funeral is today. Just thought those of you who may remember him would want to know this info. I hope things are going well for all of you and I look forward with great excitement to our next class reunion.
