Where can I begin...Brandi was a Great friend! I think we met in jr. high school, but it felt like we had always been friends...you know, like when you fall in love and you can't remember the day it happened, like your souls have always known, even when you didn't. She was my Soul sister, and I still miss her. Though the years have gone by, and through all of life's changes,I still remember.
" you were my sister my strength and my pride only God may know why...."

I was reading what Brandi wrote in my 1997-1998 yearbook last night and laughed so hard that I cried. I laughed because I remember our talks and cried because there have never been any other talks like the ones we had since her passing. She had such wisdom and genuinely wanted everybody to get along. I drove to Southlawn and smiled when I remembered the late nights there spent returning clothes, talking about who we loved and how to keep "it" on lock down-lol. One of our last memories together was a trip to the movies to see "Urban Legend." I ran every red light on the way back to Southlawn and Hope Hull--bwahahahahaha!!! We were scared that someone was in the trunk of the Escort-bwhahaahahahhaha!! The trip to UAB was even more terrifying because I felt it would be the last time I saw you. Well....until we meet again....wow. Whenever I'm on my way to Troy, I stop in to say hello to my voice of reason, my confidant, my true friend. I love you Brandi! I miss you honey!

Brandi will always be missed. This was so personal to me because we both had braces and were going to the same orthodontist. We would always talk about who was going to get theirs off first. We also enjoyed the choir trips. She was so full of life and so full of love. It was a very hard time for us all even today.
