Biography

Band Member BIOS:

I'm Luke, I sing and play guitar in Bounce Method. I've been playing guitar for about 8 years now, and have been singing for about 5 now. My main areas of influence when it comes to song writing reside in the genres of classic rock, folk, alternative and indie. I'm big into writing more folky songs with deep, meaningful lyrics, but also love writing hard rocking, or fun sing-along... songs. I think each of our different influences and our ability to successfully incorporate various genres into our songs is what sets us apart from many other bands. Bounce Method listeners should always be on their toes for this reason, because we are constantly writing tracks that have that Bounce Method sound, yet are so surprising and unexpected.

I'm Jason, I'm 20 years old, and I'm the drummer in Bounce Method. My dad taught me how to play drums when I was 5, and I've kept it a major part of my life ever since. I play a lot of rock and reggae in Bounce Method, but my main influence is truly Hip-Hop, especially the sounds of legendary producers like J Dilla and DJ Premier. I'm all about the rhythm and the integrity of the beat; the two most fundamental and important aspects of drumming.

My name is Guy..In no particular organization, but in some sort of order: I started playing bass seriously Fall of '05 for my tenth grade battle of the bands (TGP WHATS GOOD).. and the reason it all started was because of Mark Hoppus in Blink 182. Once i realized what an important role the bass was by hearing Blood Sugar Sex Magik i began to fully immerse myself with the BASSics i.e. Iron Maiden, RHCP, Led Zeppelin, Rush, and some pop punk, to name a few. I started playing in cover bands, scene bands, and grunge bands and they all have given me something to learn from. As the years went on i was introduced to Mr. Bungle and 311, which added an extra beat to my measure (hehe) then i started listening to people like Victor Wooten and Marcus Miller and all the other people youre "supposed" to listen to and all of these teachers and textbooks (their albums) i have owned, listened to, and learned have made me who am today..Now, with everything else that i listen to between hip hop and the classic 90's alternative that i grew up on, and the 80's hair metal that my parents ingrained in my brain can all be heard through my playing.. I do it for the feeling you get of being on stage because theres nothing better than letting your true self take over and have people see you in your 'happy place' and actually appreciate what you do

Matt Hunter left behind him his whole mongol empire long ago to take up the art, science, and lifestyle of the guitarist. He has gone many places and seen many people do many things, but never has he ever experienced what happens in the depths of the meth lab on tuesdays, wednesdays, saturdays, and sundays. And sometimes friday, Luke's work schedule permitting. Bounce Method sounds good.See More

First up to add to the roster is
SON IS A GUNNER

The band is called Son is a Gunner, emphasis on the 'is', not to be mistaken as Son of a Gunner which is oh, soooooo common.

The band consists of singer/song writer Brian Bartle (age: 22) providing the melodies to wrap musical notation around. Ethan Klee (age: 21) hap-hazardly plays on lead guitar with precision, and feels unmatched by the Gods. Chops Shockley(age:22) on bass guitar fills the gaps on the low end with all the groove and rhythms nature has provided in his fingers, and Brad Mann(age:21) on the drum kit, becomes a systematic war machine on the skins, and cymbals with his creative beats.

They are locally based in the Orange County area and play everywhere in between. Wherever the venue, Son is a Gunner plays to young, and old alike. All dig their music, catering to every fan, feeding off everyone's energy. Excuse the silliness, but they are Son is a Gunner, and are as solid as they come.
