Terry was serving in his second tour of duty with the USAF when he died in an accidental plane crash in Thua Thien Province during the Vietam War.  He is officially recorded as a "Combat Area Cassuality".  At the time of death he was listed as Airman 1st Class, married to a native from Coraopolis, lived in Donelson, TN and was a prebysterian.

He was born on June 13, 1943 and died on October 8, 1967.  He was burried on December 1, 1967 in Arlington National Cemetery.  He is in Section 46: sites 271-272.  At the time of his death wifes were also given a site, that is no longer true.  One of the sites has probably been assigned to another soldier.

A memorial marker can also be found at the Coraopolis Cemetery at his parents grave site.
