William was born on June 4, 1943 in Sewickley Valley Hospital.  He was a resident of Glenfield from 1978 until he passed away on April 22, 2007 unexpectedly at Sewickley Valley Hospital.

He served as a corporal with the US Marines, during the Vietnam War.  He is survived by a wife and four children.  He had been employed at Brosie Gulf in Sewickley as a mechanic and retired from JTS Trucking as a truck driver located on Neville Island.
