8th Floor Reunion

The third 8th Floor Moore Hall Reunion is set for Saturday, August 3, 2019. The Headquarter Hotel is the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel (same hotel & location as the last two reunions) It is located at 530 Richards Drive, just off Fort Riley Blvd on the west side of Manhattan. A block of rooms have been reserved for the nights of August 2nd & 3rd for a reduced rate of $89 per night. To make reservations call 1-888-627-8649 or (785) 539-5311, make sure to tell them you are with the " Moore Hall Reunion." If you have problems making reservations, make sure they spell Moore correctly. The cut off date to make reservations at the reduced rate is July 2, 2019.
We have an area reserved at the hotel in the open area by the pool (same as the last reunion) where we can meet. We also have a shelter reserved at Tuttle Puddle that we can use if it's not too hot. We will decide at a later date if we want to use it or not. The reunion is set to start at 1:30 pm. either at the hotel or the lake, which will be decided later.
For those who want to tour the KSU Alumni Center (located by Student Union parking garage on Anderson Avenue), a tour has been set up to start at 10:00 am on Saturday. There may be a campus walk to follow. Lunch at Derby is possible if the complex is open for the summer. That has not been determined by housing yet.
The Moore Hall website that we have used in the past is still up & running. It is free to use. You can access it on Classcreator.com.

2. Click on Kansas
3. Find Moore among the town names.
4. Select Class of 1976. Do not selct 8th Floor Moore or class of 2007. A younger group of 8th floor alums have their own site as well.
You can also access the website by simply clicking on the link at the very bottom of this message.
Once you are in the website, there is a sign in box in the upper right-hand corner. Your login is your e-mail, then enter your password. If you forgot your password, click on forgot password to create a new one.Once you are in you can communicate with all your Moore 8 friends either privately or to the entire group on the message forum. You can also update your profile if you need to.
