Obituary

MORTON– Corey L. Mobrey, 49, of Morton, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at her home.

She was born on September 1, 1971 in Peoria, Ill., to Don Vore and Tara Mooberry.

Surviving are her mother, Tara Smith and step-father, Gene Smith of Morton; sister, Kelly Vore of Ann Arbor, Mich.; and her two Cocker Spaniels, Marcy and Molly.

She was preceded in death by her father; and sister, Stacey Morr in 2003.

Corey was a graduate of Morton High School and received her Registered Nursing degree from Illinois Central College Nursing Program. She last worked as an RN at Fondulac Nursing Home in East Peoria.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A private family burial of cremated remains will take place at Roberts Cemetery in Morton.
